My Dad just quit smoking and I’m really proud of him. Would it be appropriate to get him a No Stank You tee shirt?

I just found out tonight that my father is smoking, again. I am the only one that knows at this point and I will keep it that way if he agrees to quit…My mother doesn’t know and I’m sure he has lied about it to her, so I don’t want to mess up their marriage. Are there any ideas on how to get him to quit???

About 6 years ago my dad had a stroke due to his excessive smoking. After that he went cold turkey and quit ever since. It was only recently that he started smoking again because he broke up with his new girl friend. He smokes about a pack a day and I’m really worried about his health. So if you have any ideas that would be great.

he promised he’d quit by October but he smokes up to 4 or 5 a day and I don’t think he’s going to make it. My mom is convinced he isn’t going to but I’m determined that he will because it’s unhealthy, it makes him smell bad, and his whole life revolves around whether he has enough cigars or not. Any tips on how I can help him quit?

He says he wants to quit, but he can’t. He’s been smoking since he was 15 (now he’s 47). He quit for three years in his late 30s, but started again and hasn’t been able to quit since. I’m afraid for him because his triglyceride and cholesterol levels are extremely high. What can he do to make quitting easier, what can I do to help?
My sister and I tried throwing his cigarettes away when we were little and he got furious, he almost hit us. So that’s not really an option.

I am Geeknerd…hear me roar asked:
He always smokes in the house and it’s making me sick. Whenever somebody tells him to go outside, he goes “ugh” and ignores us! The only place in the house that doesn’t smell like smoke is the very BACK room. The worst part is, he smokes at his computer desk and the desk is right around the kitchen! HELP! IS there any free thing to help him quit smoking? Thanks!
